Founded in 1968 as a non-stock, non-profit organization, PISM has evolved to become the country's premier professional association of supply management practitioners.

Our mission is to uplift the supply management profession and to continuously develop the practitioners to the highest ethical and world-class standards.

True to its vision of being the resource center of supply chain excellence in Asia, PISM is continuously strengthening its alliances to international organizations. It is a C.P.M. allied member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) based in Tempe, Arizona, USA, an affiliate of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) based in Switzerland and the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO.

  • To contribute in the upliftment of professionalism of supply management practitioners by championing innovations and new developments, and providing research, training & development programs which would contribute to the country's social and economic development.
  • To promote the highest ethical standards in the practice of our profession.
