What We Are:

The Foundation of the Society of Fellows in Supply Management, Inc. (SOFSM) is a non-profit organization founded in May 2006. It was founded and is actively supported by the Philippine Institute for Supply Management and composed of experienced and seasoned supply management executives imbued with a strong spirit of volunteerism and common desire to elevate level of expertise in supply management.

Our Vision:

To transform the Philippines as the center of excellence in socially responsible supply management and become the primary source of globally competitive professionals.

Our Mission:

To mold qualified individuals to become socially responsible practitioners of supply management through the development and sponsorship of graduate and undergraduate programs, research, training, conferences, and other related endeavors for the improvement of the supply management profession.

• To provide supply management scholarships to poor but deserving youth
• To promote "greening" of the supply chain
• To contribute to good governance by enhancing government procurement systems

• To develop curricula and pursue partnerships with major schools to create both graduate and undergraduate degrees in supply management
• To be the center and resource for timely research, e.g. Purchasing Manager's Index
• To encourage more Filipino companies and LGU's to adopt the triple bottom line criteria: socially responsible, economically viable and environmentally sound
• To raise the profile of the supply management profession among companies and students
