People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP)

PISM and PMAP recognize good synergy in jointly developing an Executive Development and Leadership Program for Purchasing and Supply Chain Practitioners  with the objective of preparing mid-level Purchasing and Supply Chain Practitioners for senior or regional responsibilities.

The Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) is a strictly professional, non-stock, not-for-profit organization of over 1,800 member companies and individual management executives engaged or interested in human resource management (HRM) and industrial relations (IR) work. Founded 50 years ago, PMAP continues the tradition of its forefathers in advancing the profession, the science and the art of human resource management.

As a professional association, PMAP helps institutions mold an enlightened, competent, socially responsible and influential sector of people managers who can effectively participate in nation-building. PMAP also helps its members become more effective on the job by teaching the human aspect of management via numerous career development forums and training programs.


 

Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE)

The objective of the PISM and PIIE is exert cooperative efforts, to establish the relationship where both parties shall combine efforts, skill, technology, resources and knowledge for the purpose of exchanging information, data and similar matters towards the promotion of purchasing, supply chain management and industrial engineering practices and its complimentary applications. To jointly develop training programs and/or practice the exchange of programs and trainers as may be allowed by law and contract for the benefit of providing the services required by the parties' members.

Founded in April 1998, PIIE is a non-stock, non-profit, professional society dedicated to advancing the technical and managerial excellence of industrial engineers. Within the year of its inception, membership consisted of 63 individual members, 19 institutional members and 12 student chapters including universities from Legaspi City, Angeles City, Olongapo City and San Fernando, Pampanga.

The PIIE envisions to be the recognized national organization and the focal point of all industrial engineering agenda concerning the academe and the industry

 

 

Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME)

PISM and PSME envision that the alliance lay the foundation for the internal venue whereby the promotion of Mechanical Engineering practices and competencies shall be pursued on collective and concerted efforts, form  information exchange to advocacy in government policies, interagency thrusts and conventional norms.

The contributions of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) to the continued growth of the mechanical engineering profession and technological advancement in the country have made lasting marks as could be glanced from the recognition accorded by both the public and private sectors.

PSME has indeed succeeded in living up to its role of upgrading and improving the knowledge of mechanical engineers in the country with its direct assistance in providing solutions to the problems related to the practice of the profession and by continuously educating the members through the conduct of regular plant tours, seminars, weekly breakfast interactions and the annual technical paper presentations and invention contests, among others.

PSME has 82 chapters nationwide and 3 chapters based at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a total membership of 35,000 fellow, life and associate members. In addition, it has junior units in many schools throughout the country.
